Karsha Schermbeck founded All That Jazz in 1996. She has been involved in the dance field for over 40 years. Karsha has extensive training in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical and modern. She believes that all students, whether competing or not deserve the same level of training. She is emphatic about students understanding the concepts of movement, proper alignment and terminology. Karsha is certified through Dance & Gym USA. She is also certified in dance terminology through Expert Rating. Karsha's students have consistently been awarded top honors and scholarships at dance competitions across the country. She has performed in "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum", "Guys And Dolls", "Gypsy", "Nunsense" , "It's A Wonderful Life", "Miracle On 34th Street" and "How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse". Karsha has choreographed "The Fantasticks", "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up", "West Side Story", "The Music Man", "Oklahoma", "Little Shop Of Horrors", "Gypsy", "Back To The 80s", "Fiddler On The Roof", "Nunsense", "My Fair Lady" and "The Last Decent Crooks". Karsha is employed by several competition circuits as an adjudicator.
Wyatt started dance at age 3 under the instruction of his Grandmother at Sandusky Dance Academy. Wyatt has train in all styles of dance including acrobatics making him the well-rounded dancer/teacher he is today. Through the years, Wyatt has taken many classes from the some of the industry’s top artists including Mitchel Federan, Ava Cota, & Jeanette Cota. Wyatt soon became a fierce competitor in the competition world. Wyatt has been recognized nationally by competitions & has received many accolades in the industry including being a national title winner & being nationally awarded & recognized for top technique. His extreme talent and power makes him an incredible force. After the years of competing Wyatt decided to continue his love for dance by becoming a choreographer. Wyatt’s choreography has been recognized by the dance industry & has won best choreography awards. Wyatt is super excited to be a part of our team to share his love & passion for dance with the students & watch all of the progress they make throughout the year.
Kaitlyn started dancing at the age of 4. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and pointe. She spent most of her dance career at KATJ. Kaitlyn is truly grateful for this opportunity to now teach all of these students alongside Karsha. She has always loved dancing and grew up with dance. Getting back to teaching is an exciting opportunity for her and she looks forward to working with all these wonderful young dancers!
Mia Schmidt is a recent Perkins High School 2020 graduate. She was a competitive dancer for 5 years. Mia currently attends LCCC and is majoring in dental hygiene. Mia is excited to be able to help out and be in the dance environment since my senior year of dance got cut short. Mia excels at working closely with students to help them perfect their technical abilities and performance quality. She is a positive role model and mentor and her love for dance shines through her teaching.
Camille is a sophomore in high school. She started dancing at KATJ at the age of 3. Camille has won the ID Icon award and the PAC attack for her solos along with multiple technique awards. She enjoys teaching because she loves watching the students grow as dancers.

Mariah continues to for dance by attending adult classes at KATJ with Karsha, doing yoga and Tai Chi and other activities that feed her creativity.
