KARSHA SCHERMBECK FOUNDED ALL THAT JAZZ DANCE ACADEMY IN 1996. SHE HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN THE DANCE FIELD FOR OVER 30 YEARS. KARSHA HAS EXTENSIVE TRAINING IN BALLET, POINTE, JAZZ, TAP AND LYRICAL/MODERN.

KARSHA BELIEVES THAT ALL STUDENTS WHETHER COMPETING OR NOT DESERVE THE SAME LEVEL OF TRAINING. SHE IS EMPHATIC ABOUT STUDENTS UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPTS OF MOVEMENT, PROPER BODY ALIGNMENT AND CORRECT TERMINOLOGY.
KARSHA'S STUDENTS HAVE CONSISTENTLY BEEN AWARDED TOP HONORS AND SCHOLARSHIPS AT DANCE COMPETITIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. MANY OF HER FORMER DANCERS HAVE GONE ON TO PERFORM PROFESSIONALLY OR TO TEACH DANCE AT STUDIOS THROUGHOUT OHIO AND THE U.S.
KARSHA HAS ALSO BEEN SOUGHT OUT TO CHOREOGRAPH FOR THEATER PROJECTS AS WELL. RECENTLY SHE CHOREOGRAPHED "GYPSY" FOR PLAYMAKERS CIVIC THEATRE AS WELL AS TAKING ON THE ROLE OF MAZEPPA. KARSHA HAS PERFORMED IN "A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM" AND "GUYS AND DOLLS". IN ADDITION SHE HAS CHOREOGRAPHED "GUYS AND DOLLS", "DO BLACK PATENT LEATHER SHOES REALLY REFLECT UP" , "THE FANTASTICKS", "WEST SIDE STORY", "FIDDLER ON THE ROOF", "THE MUSIC MAN", "OKLAHOMA", "MY FAIR LADY" AND "LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS". SHE IS CURRENTLY THE CHOREOGRAPHER FOR THE PORT CLINTON HIGH SCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.
KARSHA HAS WON NUMEROUS CHOREOGRAPHY AND TEACHER EXCELLENCE AWARDS.
KARSHA HAS JUDGED COMPETITIONS FOR DANCE USA IN TENNESSEE AND MICHIGAN.
KARSHA IS A CERTIFIED DANCE INSTRUCTOR WITH DANCE & GYM USA. IN ADDITION, SHE IS CERTIFIED WITH EXPERT RATING EMPLOYMENT IN DANCE AWARENESS AND TERMINOLOGY.
AN AVID FITNESS BUFF, KARSHA IS ALSO A CERTIFIED KETTLEBELL AND BOOTCAMP/GROUP FITNESS INTSTRUCTOR.
KARSHA'S MISSION IS TO PASS ON HER LOVE OF DANCE TO ALL OF HER STUDENTS.
